In the beginning God created the Heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. Gen 1:1-3. KJV
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. John 1:1-4 KJV
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. Gen 1:26. KJV
This was the starting point of all things in life.
We are faced with so many challenges or difficulties everyday in life, in our Family, Finances, Health, Business, Work, Relationship and many more. Yet God has built man to withstand and surmount those challenges through the knowledge of God inside them. But man goes through life without any major impart not even affecting their immediate family positively, even though they live full length of their life. Men died without fulfilling their purpose of creation.
To me (personal opinion) this is failure in life. Man has the capacity to possess everything he ever wanted i.e. you can get what you say you want in life. Because everything is available. Whatever you think you ever wanted is already in your life waiting for your recognition.
When God gave the children of Israel the land that flow with milk and honey, fear could not let them possess it. They started saying negative words, except Caleb and Joshua that say something difference.
Num 14:28. Say unto them, as truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you.
Prov 18:21 says Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. KJV
A fool's mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul. Prov 18:7. KJV
A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Prov 18:20.KJV
That means at the beginning of each day, week, month, and year it is important to say good things about your life, business, career and family. You say Word according to what God says in his WORDS about every situation you find yourself.
Josh 1:8. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. KJV
Rom 10:9-10. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. KJV
Verse11. For the scripture saith, whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. KJV. And the scripture can not be broken.
Heb 4:12. For the word of God is quick , and powerful , and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
The Word of God is the truth about the subject matter; it is God judgment over the issue. Men may say something different, but whose report will you believe – God – Man –Satan. Gets the Word of God concerning the issue or subject matter and start saying it both day and night. Jos 1:8
what do we confess? We speak Word according to what is written in the Bible against any challenges we’re faced with. Such as Sickness, Poverty, Health, Finances, Hunger, Shelter, Knowledge, Fear, Giving, Warfare, Love, Faith etc.
For instant, if you’re afraid of death or failure, anytime the thought show up in your mind that says you will die or fail; quickly respond by saying 2Tim 1:7. For God hath not given us (personalise it) the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. So, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD. Ps 118:17 KJV
Against failure; Isa 54:4-5 says, fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more. For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.
It is pertinent to read the Bible because our lives depend on it, every Word you need is written there, and you must become a student of the Bible and believe the written Word of God.
What the Word says will come to pass over the issue or subject matter as long as you believe. Heb 3:12. Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. KJV
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.. Mark 11:23. KJV
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. James 1:6-8KJV.
What do we believe? We believe that God exist and he gave us the Word to save us from all our trouble. Jesus is the WORD. Matt 1:21. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. KJV and John 1:14 says; And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. KJV
And God has placed us over all his creation to be fruitful and multiply.
We are better positioned in life as Christian than anybody. God create everything for our pleasure, but we don’t recognise it as it were, then the enemy takes advantage of our ignorant and place limitation on those things that belong to us.
Gen 1:27-28. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth KJV
Rev 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. KJV
What do we do? It starts by renewing of our mind; to understand our position in God and what he has put in place for us. To stand on his Word and claim those promises. The Bible put it this way in Roman 12:2. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. KJV
Our mind can only be renew by constant reading and meditating on the Word of God. World standard or pattern is different from God’s way. The world system is corrupt and God is Holy. It takes the Spirit of God to produce genuine result in the world.
2 Peter 1:3-4. According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. KJV
When I first discover this, I started using it to solve small problems such as feelings in my body like head ache, pains or weakness etc. I don’t say it to myself like claiming it, that is, if I have to mention it at all but rather say something like the LORD is the strength of my life or the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes am healed.
“My point is; you don’t have to give word to any negative feelings you experience in your body; you should learn how to say the right word to dislodge such negative feelings”
This principle maybe applied to any part of our life; Family, Business, Ministry, economic situation etc. the word that comes out of our mouth gives root to any situation that face us in life. So, mind your language and stop saying negative words hence, you experience the consequences of those words.
HOW TO SOLVE REAL PROBLEMS WITH THE WORD
GOD’s Word is the truth about the subject matter, The Word works – when you work it. When the situation speak answer it with the word, let the word of God on the issue be yours too.
Faith makes God word work in your life, and it is impossible to please Him without faith.
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear Heb 11:3 KJV
Waiting for God’s blessing require patience, avoid trying to do things on your own effort i.e. trying to help God in your doings –This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. Zech 4:6.
Do your normal daily activity and wait for opportunity to present itself, God’s promises can never be attained by fleshly effort. (Don’t produce Ishmael. Ishmael means impatience to me)
Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. Ps 37:3-7 KJV
When you offer prayer to God about something in your heart (a subject matter) and you believe He has heard and answered you. Then wait for the opportunity to present itself, don’t arrange or strategies or engage in discussion trying to manipulate. Allow God to do his work at appropriate time. Do your normal daily Business or Work activities, and watch out for the opportunity. Our impatience often destroys many of our chances to succeed in life then people suffer.
For instance, if you ask God for personal car or house. It is a wrong time to start asking people about it i.e. it is very wrong to start telling everyone who care to listen, in the process you will discuss it even with or enemies that pretend to be one of your friends. Hello; After you’ve prayed allow God to direct your path, you will hear conversation in the direction of what you prayed about, God will send right people when He finished the arrangement. Light will come in the mist of darkness to give you comfort for your desire. When those conversations come you will know this is God for you.
Good example is when you’re sick (God forbid) and ask God for healing in your body, and you believe He has heard and answered. It is the wrong time to start interacting or listen to conversation that is contrary to healthy living. You can’t afford to be telling people how unhealthy you are, likewise, you can’t start dictating to your Doctor on your medication or telling the Doctor when you want get healed. The only option you have is to wait till you can get back on your feet for normal activity after you have gone through the process.
What we do as a Christian is to constantly speak the Word of God as it said in the Bible and agreed with God on the matter as long as we can still speak and His Word is in us, we put those words on our lips and start saying it. My point is; we wait for our healing, no manipulation, strategies or arrangement till we get desire result. The same principle applied to all issues.
Another fantastic example is when relocating to another house or you intend to acquire a property. It is the wrong thing to relocate because you have the money to do so. First is to talk to God to give you a Word concerning the subject matter, and then follow the process of waiting for God to act on your behalf. While waiting, situation or conversation will come that will speak against what you’re expecting, your duty is to respond with the accurate Word of God that support your expectation, and you ultimately debunk those negative utterances or circumstances.
Learn to be observant and focus because opportunity will come your way unexpected and is essential you recognise it when it comes. Many opportunities pass us bye every day, you’ve to develop capacity to recognise every opportunity that comes. Become a detective of opportunity on daily basis at every point of contact – listening – reading – watching etc. which include various challenges.
Always calm down and observe carefully to detect where the opportunity is coming from in all of these situations, don’t waste your time with any conversation that is not Biblical. Let the Lord direct your path in every situation by keeping the word of God in view of everything, then, you’re close to the attainment of your goal.
Finally, remember what Jesus says in John 17:7-18.
Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.
For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.
And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me; that they may be one, as we are.
While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them. KJV
This message is passing across to believers in Jesus Christ. Those individual that have accepted Jesus as their LORD and personal Saviour, who also believe God sent Him to pay the price for their sins.
If you’re reading this and yet to be Born Again i.e. accepting what God has done in Jesus on Calvary.
You have the opportunity now to do so, "Without holiness no man shall see the Lord." Jesus says in John 3:7. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
Because you can’t do the work of God except the Spirit of God dwells in you. You must invite God into your heart through the name of Jesus, acknowledge your sins, forsake them and determine not go back to them.
John14:6. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. KJV
If you want to WORK “N” WALK with God do not live a sinful life. Ps 119:11 says; Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. 1 John 3:8-9 says He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God KJV.
The ONLY way you can see and enter the kingdom of God is by being Born of Water and Spirit. Jn3:3&5
There are so many scriptures and principles in the Bible that can and will solve life problems, you can only find out when you start reading and meditating upon the Word. Start the process today and experience the better life God has giving us in Jesus.
